Hello Stampers,
I am fortunate to have a husband who loves to find different ways to surprise me. He especially likes to find things he thinks are useful for my creativity. He came home one day with a box of sanded and sealed wood rounds with the bark still attached. I tucked them away because at the time I was prepping for a class and had other things on my mind that I was working on. Yesterday I hauled them out and today I am sharing what I did with them.
I used White distress ink as a background and then whisked another green ink to add a little accent. I wasn’t sure how the wood would (no pun intended), take to stamping but what the heck I have a whole box of them so why not try. I used Memento Black ink and an image from the Bloom and Grow stamp set to stamp on the wooden piece. I used Stampin’ Blends to color the image. I added a bee from the Honey Bee stamp set. I think it looks pretty great. What do you think?
PAWS TO PONDER
Hugs and happy stamping, MB
