Hello Stampers, Over the week end I dragged out old magazines looking for techniques I haven’t used in a long time or haven’t tried at all. The card I am sharing today has one of the techniques I found. The base card is Whisper White. I used mossy green acrylic paint and a sponge brush to create the background. Not a lot of paint and not a lot of pressure develops the background. I used Mossy Meadow ink for the tree images from the Nature’s Beauty stamp set. I stamped the deer from the same stamp set with Soft Suede ink. I used Light and Dark Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends to color in the deer image. I had scraps of wood grain DSP which I used for the corners. This is a simple technique but sometimes simple is better. I hope you will give it a try.
PAWS TO PONDER
Hugs and happy stamping, MB
