Today there is beautiful sunshine even though it’s still chilly. I always feel better with the sunshine. As some of you know I have rheumatoid arthritis. I receive infusions every six weeks and take one medication daily. Well one of the infusion nurses is eloping some time in February. He won’t say when just that it will be in February. Yesterday I made his wedding card. My next infusion is February 21 and he’ll be back from vacation and should be married by then.
I started with a base card of Blushing Bride, what else right? I used the Striped Scallops embossing folder and Shimmer White CS to create the top layer. Using a die from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits I cut out two hearts one in Shimmer White and the other Blushing Bride CS. I snipped the white heart at the top and intertwined it with the pink heart. I added a Blushing Bride border of hearts also using a die from the Be Mine set. I added a few retired glitter enamel dots in white and pale pink. I know he and his new bride will appreciate the card. When you go in for treatments as often as us “lucky” people with RA your nurses become like family. In the next few days I will show you a baby card I am making for the other infusion nurse who just had her third baby. I hope you enjoy the card as much as I did creating it. Remember I am always available for questions or comments and if you’d like to place an order or join my team give a shout out. I’ll be listening. Thank you for spending some of your precious time taking a peek.
