If you have been following me for awhile you know I love football. Well guess what? There is a new football league just starting called the AAL. There are eight teams mostly comprised of players from practice squads or players that were cut from other teams for injuries and now are rehabbed and ready to play. It’s not the NFL but it’s not bad football either. It beats the gore that’s on all the other channels, and it sure beats the news.
So for today’s share I have a card created with one of the Sale-a-bration free stamp sets, Home to Roost. When you use the Buffalo Check stamp you can use a ruler to add an additional thin strip of a different color. I thought why not try stamping the Buffalo Check stamp on a striped piece of CS. I used a green striped piece of CS from the 6 x 6 Regals DSP. I stamped the Buffalo Check with Mossy Meadow ink. Sure enough I got a contrast with the striped paper. I used Stampin’ Blends to color the rooster image. To either side of the rooster I stamped the wheat/grassy image with So Saffron ink and then over stamped with Crushed Curry. The greeting is from the Well Said stamp set. Take a look. I hope you like it as much as I do.
PAWS TO PONDER
Hugs and happy stamping, MB
