Good Morning Stamping Friends.
Many years ago there was a scrapbooking store that held a Scrapfest annually. My daughter and I had a blast over a two day experience of new techniques, make and takes and card classes. There were two people who had the greatest classes. One of those is Jennifer McGuire. She continues to inspire me even today. I am sharing a card today that is one of her techniques.
I started with a base card of Bermuda Bay CS. Next I used the yellow gingham paper from the Gingham Gala DSP series. This has been a hot item and I just got my back order so now I feel like I can use my original pack. On a piece of Whisper White CS I stamped the image from the All That You Are stamp set. I stamped one full image and then a partial one to fill in the space. I used Stampin’ Blends to color the image. I estimated where I wanted the birthday greeting then cut a thin piece out of the whisper white image piece. I attached the top portion of the image then stamped the greeting and finally added the bottom portion of the image piece. I know it is quick and easy and really a fun technique but it adds just something different for a change. I hope you enjoy peeking.
PAWS TO PONDER
Hugs and happy stamping, MB
