Too Cute Not to CASE

Hello My Stamping Friends,

Sometimes you come across a card or a project that is just to cute not to CASE.  That means copy and share everything in stampers language.  I found this card while browsing through other demonstrator websites.  It comes courtesy of Udderly Awesome Stamping From The Heart.  My card begins with a base card of Cherry Cobbler CS.  Attached to the base card is a piece of Whisper White CS on which I stamped at the top of the piece a part of the crock filled with candy canes from the Many Blessings stamp set.  I colored the images with a variety of Stampin’ Blends.  On a smaller piece of Whisper White CS I stamped the entire crock image and the greeting also from the Many Blessings stamp set.  I adhered this to a slightly larger piece of Cherry Cobbler CS and then to the base card.  Just a fun little card especially if you enjoy coloring.  Take a peek and let me know what you think.

Thank you as always for stopping by and if you need help placing an order let me know.  You can place your on line order right from this site.

Stencils and Stamping

Hi Friends, Once again I find myself apologizing for my lack of posting.  Many of you know I have RA.  Unfortunately the medication and the disease itself has some not so pleasant side effects.  I have been struggling with mouth ulcers for the past six weeks.  That combined with cold weather joint pain doesn’t leave a lot of room for creativity.  On the other hand as I tell my hubby and close friends at least I have a home to come to.  Not like the people in California who are devastated by nature’s way of saying the world has to change. I did put together this simple card by using a piece of Cardstock I had cut a tree from using the In The Woods thinlits.  I used a dauber and Old Olive ink to stencil the tree onto Very Vanilla CS.  I stamped the tree image from the Winter Woods stamp set with Mossy Meadow ink over the stenciled tree.  I punched the gold ornaments from Gold Glimmer paper.  The frame surrounding the tree is from the Swirly Frames stamp set.  The corner stamps are from the Timeless Textures stamp set.  I adhered the Very Vanilla CS to a piece of Old Olive CS and then to the Very Vanilla base card.
I want to thank you all for stopping by.  I hope you have a happy and peace filled Thanksgiving.

Penguins and Snow Banks

Hi Stamping Friends,

I posted this card on Instagram earlier and I promised to share the details.  I started with a base card of Blueberry Bushel, one of my favorite blues.  I added a piece of DSP from the Festive Farmhouse series.  Now for the fun part.  I tore a piece of Whisper White CS and lightly sponged it with Pool Party ink.  I stamped the branches from the Christmas Pines stamp set and suspended ornaments from the Many Blessings stamp set from them.  I didn’t have the pole and sign for the North Pole from the Signs of Santa stamp set so I created my own.  I cut a thin strip of DSP from the Wood Textures series and distressed it .  I stamped the greeting from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and used the Classic Label punch to punch it out.  Then I used the Making Every Day Bright stamp set to stamp three little penguins with Memento Black ink.  All of the images were colored using Stampin’ Blends.  I adhered the snow bank only on the bottom so I could tuck the pole and penguins in behind it and give the card a little more depth.  I think this card is really sweet but then I’m a sucker for penguins and pretty much any other animal.  Let me know what you think and if you need help ordering any of the supplies I used please email me and I will gladly help.  Thank you once again for stopping by.  I appreciate your time in this busy world we live in.
