I apologize for the lack of posting. My creativity is stifled by the Wisconsin Winter weather. My studio has a poor heating system which my sweet husband has been trying to improve but short of a propane heater with an open flame we haven’t found a solution. I really am not keen on the propane thing. Dave had to convince me the kitchen wouldn’t explode with a gas stove so there will be no propane in my creative space. So I have been dragging things back and forth to our den to get ready for last week’s class. Now both my den and my studio are a mess. Top that off with a few medical issues and you might understand where I’m coming from.
I do have a card I absolutely love that was featured in my class this past Saturday. I started with a base card of Whisper White CS followed by a layer of Pink Pirouette CS then another layer of Whisper White and finally the DSP that has it all from the Painted With Love series. I embossed the flowery heart from the Heart Happiness stamp set with gold embossing powder and used a framelit from the Sweet and Sassy framelit set to cut it out. I stamped the smaller heart with Calypso Coral ink and then the tiny flower in the center with Memento Black ink. I used Stampin’ Write markers to color the flower. This was also cut out with the Big Shot and another framelit from the same set as the larger heart. The larger heart was adhered with snail adhesive and the smaller heart was added with dimensionals. I thank you for stopping by and hope you enjoy what I have to share.
PAWS TO PONDER
Hugs and happy stamping, MB
