Greetings stampers, What a cold, windy, rainy day.  Not the kind of day that’s arthritis friendly.  Wanted so badly to crawl into bed and stay there but too much to do.  I have a class tomorrow so I wrapped up loose ends today.  I have been working on the card I’m sharing a little at a time.  Finally got it finished.  Parts of it were CASE’d but I put my own twist on it.  I started with a base card of Old Olive CS.  I ran a piece of Crum Cake CS through the Big Shot with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder.  I dragged my Chocolate Chip ink pad over the embossed piece to give it some pop.  I took apart a few box flaps to find the piece of corrugated cardboard on the center of the card.  I swiped this piece with Chocolate Chip ink also.  My husband was quick to point out that you can buy rolls of corrugated cardboard as I was peeling the box flaps.  I pointed out this was a lot less expensive.  I have an accordion folder with scraps of CS.  I grabbed a few green pieces from there and used the Pretty Pines Thinlits to cut out six pine branches.  I used Copper foil for the little berry branches.  I stamped the pine cones from the Christmas Pines stamp set with Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake CS. I used the thinlits to cut these out too.  I used Tombow, mono adhesive to attach everything to the cardboard background.  A simple red bow is the only embellishment.  I had fun concocting this card I hope you enjoy it.

Hugs and happy stamping,  MB
