Hi Stampers,

It’s a good Monday in Green Bay, WI.  The Packers pulled a win out of the bag yesterday.  It’s amazing but the mood of the city goes the way of the Packer schedule.  I’m glad to see Brett Hundley get a win.  He is one of the good guys.  So back to stamping.  I have always enjoyed working with multi medium art.  Recently I used a portion of a coffee filter on one of my cards.  Today I decided to use the entire filter.  I buy natural coffee filters so they are brown.  I used the pine branches from the Christmas Pines stamp set inked with Wild Wasabi and Tranquil Tide inks on the center of the filter.  I stamped one pine cone from the Christmas Happiness stamp set with Chocolate Chip ink.  I think these pine cones are so realistic looking. I wish they had coordinating dies.  Next I used Cherry Cobbler ink on the NOEL greeting.  I added scattered spots with my stand by spot stamp from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set and Chocolate Chip ink.  Now the fun part and maybe a little scary.  Scrunch that filter into a ball. I smoothed it out and attached it to a piece of Whisper White CS.  I used the Crumb Cake ink pad to go over the wrinkles in the filter to give it an even more distressed look.  At my age it’s all about vintage!  I added a burlap ribbon tied at one side with twine and then onto the base card of Cherry Cobbler CS. Take a look.  See what you think.

Hugs and happy stamping,  MB
