Hi Stampers,
Did you ever feel like a queen or king? Well let me tell you. Tuesday after dinner I noticed that along with my dinner I had swallowed half of a tooth. Yesterday that tooth was crowned. Not exactly the crown I was looking for. So I was queen for a day ha! If you remember that TV show you are older than dirt like me.
Today I am sharing a card I CASE’d from Wendy Lee. I changed the colors and the image, but the tri-fold design is hers. I have seen a different version of this card and I will show that to you in the next day or two. I started with a 5 1/2 x 12 piece of Blushing Bride CS. I scored this piece at 4 inches and 8 inches to create the tri-fold. I used the layering squares framelits to create an opening in the front flap. On the inside section I cut a piece of Basic Black CS with the layering squares framelits to back a piece of Blushing Bride CS cut with a scalloped layered square. This was cut using the same set of framelits. On the last layer of Whisper White CS I cut with the Stitched Shape framelits I stamped an image from the Timeless Textures stamp set with Archival Black ink. I used Stampin’Write markers to color the image. On the outer flap with the window I used images from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to create a background. This was a fun challenge. I hope you give it a try.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Hi Stampers,
Not a bad day for a Monday. Our furnace man was here today bright and early. Just routine maintenance. I know most people do that in Fall but somehow we got a little behind one year and now we are yearly in March. Guess you could say we beat the rush. After Mr. Furnace left I went to visit my fur babies at my daughter’s house. Her Doxie, Zoe was started on a heart medication for a leaky mitral valve so I went to check on her. She was peppy as ever. Then home to play. This is what I came up with.
I started with a base card of Wisteria Wonder. I used the Big Shot and the Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with a piece of Crumb Cake CS for the second layer. I used a brayer to add some color to the embossed image. Next I stamped an image from the Helping Me Grow stamp set with Archival Black ink. Since I was fussy cutting this image I didn’t have to worry about being to particular with the coloring. I used a dauber and Perfect Plum ink to color the image. I cut a bee with the Detailed Dragonfly framelits. I added these both to the card with dimensionals except for the stems. I used the fine tip glue pen to adhere them to the card. I stamped the frame from the Rose Wonder stamp set and then partially inked the greeting from the Garden in Bloom stamp set. I fussy cut the frame and added it with dimensionals. Let me know what you think.

Hi Stampers,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Wednesday. I have a class scheduled for Saturday and I am way ahead on prepping. I had time to create a little extra. Today’s share could be an Easter card but it also could work for several other occasions. I saw a similar design a year or so ago. I added images to the original design and this is my version. I started with a base card of Crumb Cake CS. The next layer is Pool Party CS. On the Whisper White CS I used the swoosh from the Work of Art stamp set and Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks to create the nest. Next I used the same two inks and the trunk from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set to create the twigs on the nest. So the nest didn’t look suspended in air I used the branch from the Best Birds stamp set for the nest to rest on. The egg is punch from Pool Party CS with the Balloon Bouquet punch. I trimmed off the portion of balloon that would have been the bottom. I used the spot image from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to speckle the egg and the background. Take a look.
