About a year ago I meet an awesome demonstrator, Billie Moan. She lives in Chattanooga TN and she is a hoot. I was lucky enough to meet her in person at the last convention in Salt Lake City. I was inspired by Billie for today's creation.
So what do you do with a heart thinlit after Valentine's day if you don't have a love celebration like an anniversary or wedding? I used DSP from the Pretty Petals DSP stack and the Bloomin' Heart thinlit to create a flowery heart. Without the Big Shot Die Brush I probably would pull my hair out but with it the intricate design pops right out of the die. I used the oval framelits to cut an oval from Blushing Bride CS and a smaller oval out of the results of the Bloomin' Heart creation. I used the fine tip glue pen to adhere the flowery oval to the CS oval. This oval was adhered with Fast Fuse to a piece of Whisper White CS that was run through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots textured embossing folder. I put the Dots mask from the Dots and Stripes set over the embossed CS and used a dauber and Blushing Bride ink to ink the areas through the stencil. I wanted to keep a soft look so I used the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies with Whisper White CS to cut out the accents. The centers are blushing bride and the very center is a White Perfect accent covered with Wink of Stella. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Thank you for stopping by.
