Good Monday morning everyone,

I had a very nice class on Saturday.  Everyone is excited to start the holiday cards.  I have a few more Fall classes before we really get into the Holidays full steam.  I am having FIVE classes in November.  Stampin'Up! has so many really great projects for the holidays that I don't want anyone to miss an opportunity to enjoy as many of these as possible.  If you live in the Green Bay WI area watch the blog for upcoming dates and reserve your spot in the class.  You can also e-mail me anytime or leave a comment on the blog and I will get back with you promptly.

It was kind of a late night for me last night.  The Green Bay Packers played the Sunday Night football game and their opponents were the Seattle Seahawks.  It was kind of a revenge match from last year.  Thankfully we came away with the win but once again also some injuries.  But a win is a win none the less. GO PACK GO!  Our African Grey parrot actually says this but only during football season.  Don't ask me how he knows.

I saw a similar card to today's a few months back but cannot find the name of the original designer. I used a different stamp set and colors.  I stamped the Hardwood Background stamp with Tip Top Taupe on Very Vanilla CS.  I also stamped an image from Awesomely Artistic on the tag which I used the Ornate Tag Topper and the Triple Banner punch to create.  I stamped the leaves on Very Vanilla CS with Old Olive. They are from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. I fussy cut the leaves and the flower.  The flower was stamped with Archival Black ink and water colored with Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum inks.  This image is from the You've Got This stamp set.  I used frayed burlap behind the tag and a few strands of burlap string curled under the leaves.  I hope you enjoy.
