Gift Bag

Hi Everyone,

I have a new neighbor who is in the process of moving in.  I thought she might enjoy a little house warming gift.  This little bag was so fun to make.  I started with a plan white bag using the English Garden design series paper to cover the front.  I punched three flowers from the Crushed Curry Cotton paper and the Medallion punch and two with the pansy punch.  Between the flowers I scrunched a piece of tulle.  I think tulle is so feminine.  I attached all the flowers and tulle together with a mini brad and used glue dots to adhere it to the bag.  The banner was punched with the Triple Banner punch.  I used Mossy Meadow CS and Whisper White CS to cut the frames for the greeting with the tags and labels framelits set.  The greeting is a portion of a greeting from the You've Got This stamp set. It is stamped in Mossy Meadow. I attached ribbon handles with additional mini brads.  I made a coordinating little card to go with the gift. I'm not sure what I'll be putting on the bag yet.  It may be a set of cards!  I hope she'll like it.

Thanks for looking.  Have a safe and blessed week end.

English Garden

Hi Everyone,

Today's card base is Blushing Bride.  The corners are rounded to give it a little softer look.  The banner is punched from the English Garden Design Series Paper (DSP) with the Triple Banner punch. The strips of paper are from the same paper. I folded the corner over on the narrower strip to reveal the same design as the banner.  I wrapped gold baker's twine around the banner.  I used the 2 inch punch to punch a watercolor rose from the English Garden DSP. It is popped with dimensionals.  The only stamping on this card is the greeting in Rose Red ink from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set. 20150729_162150

August stamp camps are scheduled for August 13 at 5:30 pm CDT and August 15 9:30 am CDT.  It will be a fun time since we had awesome learning experiences at convention.  If you'd like to join us please e-mail me to register.  Class fee is $15 or a minimum $15 purchase from the current catalog.

Thanks for looking.

Merry Christmas…

Hi Everyone,

I know I promised to be back yesterday but little did I know how wiped I would be after convention.  It was amazing again.  This was only my second year attending and thanks to my wonderful team leader, upline and team we had a wonderful time filled with laughter and friendship.  Once again I came away knowing that Stampin" Up! is the company I belong with.  Talk about inspiring. The talent among the gals and guys attending is awesome, and everyone is willing to share.  One of the make and takes featured some of the new Christmas product and while you can't see it just yet I did a card with some of the product so you could have a little peek at it.  It will probably be the only peek you get at the new product from me so here goes.

The present is part of one of the new stamp sets and it will be one of the most versatile sets which will carry over long after the holidays.  The JOY greeting is from the same set.  I used the triple banner punch to punch out the Whisper White CS and the blue print banner beneath it.  The blue print is from the Cherry On Top DS paper stack.  The base card is Cherry Cobbler.  I used the Elegant Dots embossing folder with Whisper White CS and inked over with Old Olive ink.  The present is popped with dimensionals.  The bow is Crushed Cucumber punched with the Bow Builder punch.  Santa is fussy cut from one of the sheets of new holiday design series paper.  Wait until you see the entire series!

I hope you enjoyed the little peek.  I'll be back tomorrow with another non-seasonal card.  Christmas will be here soon enough.  Thanks for looking.

Quick Post

This is going to be a really quick post because I have six minutes until my ride to the airport is here.

I promised a card yesterday but never had time to play so here's the card for today. 20150722_100454

The base card is Whisper White. The next layer is embossed with the Elegant Dots embossing folder and is Hello Honey CS.  The framed piece is Basic Black, Real Red and Whisper White.  The flowers and leaves are from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set.  I used Memento Black ink to stamp on Old Olive, Real Red and Whisper White CS.  I used the Pansy punch to punch out the flower and fussy cut the leaves.  The frame and the flower are popped with dimensionals.

Gotta run.  See you on the 27th.

God Bless,  MB

Paper Pumpkin

Happy Monday Everyone,

I hope you had a wonderful week-end.  It was very hot and humid in Green Bay on Saturday but no showers or storms for the Brett Favre induction into the Packer's Hall of Fame.  Farmer's Market almost blew away in the morning but yours truly slept right through the storm.  Must have been tired. Yesterday my sweet hubby, Dave and I went to our grandson's baseball game.  They were ahead the entire game until the last inning.  Oh well still a lot of fun minus the sun burn I inflicted on myself.  Feels better today.

It's less than two days before we leave for convention in Salt Lake City.  I am pumped.  It was a fantastic experience last year. I will try to get a post in tomorrow but then you will not hear from me until July 27.

OK. So for today's card I choose to create this month's Paper Pumpkin the way it was designed and then my version of the same.  If you still have not subscribed to Paper Pumpkin you need to do it NOW cause it keeps getting better and you don't want to miss out on another month!  Contact me and I'll help you get started. Now the cards.

To the second card I added a layer of Tangelo Twist CS behind the grey print included in the Paper Pumpkin kit and another layer on top of the print CS.  I changed the greeting and replaced the plant with steam from the cup.

Thanks for looking.
