Lots of Dots

Hi Stampers,

I saw a similar card by Peggy McCurry thanks for the idea Peggy.  I changed the colors and orientation of the card.  This is my version.

I made a mask with a scrap of Whisper White Card stock for the circles.  I punched four circles out of the CS.  I used daubers and Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzelberry and Sahara Sand inks. I started out with the four originals circles and then moved the mask around to fill in the spaces.  I popped the greeting which is from a past Paper Pumpkin with dimensionals.  The base card is Soft Suede although you can't see much of it from this picture.  I added a few sequins and gemstones to finish the card.

Thanks for looking.  I truly appreciate your interest.

Paper Pumpkin

Good Morning Everyone,

This month's Paper Pumpkin is awesome. I swear they are getting better every month. The kit makes six cards and four gift bags.  The gift bags are super cute and they are not flimsy either.  They are large and strong enough to hold a candle and they even come with tissue paper!  I like to try something different then the pattern that is sent with the kit so here is my version.

I used the stamp set that came with the kit and the new Watermelon Wonder ink to stamp the Celebrate and the Happy Birthday Greeting on the balloon.  They are both adhered with dimensionals.  I tied a bow with Hello Honey ribbon on the end of the balloon.  The banner under the balloon is also part of the kit.  It is Island Indigo design paper.  The ink spot including in this month's kit is Island Indigo.

Now for some even greater news Stampin' Up! is offering the first two months of Paper Pumpkin for 50% off the regular price.  The regular price is $19.95 including shipping in the US and $24.95 CAN. You can cancel any time and if you are going to be on an extended vacation you can put your kit on hold.  Everything you need is included in the kit, ink, stamps, paper etc.  Everything is cut and ready to go with full instructions or you can think outside the box and do your own thing.  They also make great gifts.  If you are interested go to Paper Pumpkin.com and enter Promo Code SHARETHEFUN.  This offer is for new subscribers only and expires June 10 so hurry.

I will be happy to answer any questions just drop me an e-mail.  Thanks for looking.

Happy Anniversary

Yesterday was my hubby, Dave's and my anniversary.  This is the card I made for him.  The colors in our wedding were Periwinkle so each year I try to put a shade of purple in the card.  I used Blackberry Bliss DSP and ribbon.  The card is simple because I didn't want it to look too femme.

I wish I could show you the card Dave made for me.  He is a hoot. This year he glued our heads on a Ken and Barbie wedding cake topper that he blew up on the computer.  He is getting quite a reputation for his cards.  That's part of why we are still very much in love.  He makes me laugh, and we still dance in the kitchen!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for looking.

Flower Shop

Good Monday Morning everyone,

I hope you had a restful weekend.  I had class on Saturday morning.  I did a little light yard work before going to mass.  Sunday morning I was up bright and early.  We were forecast to have strong storms but they held off until around 5:30 and then it was just a rumble of thunder and a nice soaking rain.  After I had done a good amount of weeding Dave and I went to a few greenhouses that I had gotten gift cards for from my children on Mother's Day.  Actually they are my stepchildren but I hate that term. To me a step is something you walk on and these three are so good to me that I borrow them sometimes.

Today's card was CASE'd from the demonstrators sample site.  I usually write the name of the person I have CASE'd on the back of the sample but I forgot to this time.  So thank you to whoever had the original idea.

The flowers are vellum stamped and sponged with Elegant Eggplant ink and punched with the pansy punch.  The base card is Wisteria Wonder and Naturals Very Vanilla CS.  I used the Bird Builder punch for the leaves and they are sponged with Pear Pizzazz.  This card was just too pretty not to copy.

Thanks for looking.

Sneak Peek

Hi Stampers,

This will be my only sneak peek from the new catalog.  I think the mystery of what is coming is part of the excitement but I thought one little teaser would be ok. 20150514_151059

This stamp set is a set of two called You've Got This.  Well you don't have it yet but I can bet it will be one of the most popular new sets.  It is awesome for water coloring, and that's what I did here.

I used new in colors Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron (not misspelled, it is actually a French pastry). The center of the flower is So Saffron.  The second part of this set is a large blotch which can be used as a background.  I inked only the edges in So Saffron so the flower was not covered over.  The banner is inked with Mint Macaron and that stamp is also part of the new set, You've Got This.

The base card is Watermelon Wonder followed by DSP from the new Cherry On Top DSP stack. I added the banner with dimensionals.

You don't have long to wait until June 3 when you can start ordering from the new annual catalog. The anticipation is half of the fun.  You can order from me anytime 24/7 right from this site.  If you have questions give me a shout that's why I'm here.

Thanks for looking.
