No card today but just received news from Stampin'Up! that SOME of the other stamp pads when used on Whisper White card stock and allowed to dry will not smear with the Blendabilities.  Wow! That makes the color combos endless.  Here is a list of the ink colors that will work.

Always Artichoke      Baked Brown Sugar      Blushing Bride      Calypso Coral

Coastal Cabana      Crisp Cantaloupe      Crumb Cake      Crushed Curry

Daffodil Delight      Garden Green      Hello Honey      Marina MIst      Melon Mambo

Lost Lagoon      Old Olive      Pear Pizzazz      Pink Pirouette

Pistacchio Pudding      Pool Party      Pumpkin Pie      Sahara Sand      Smoky Slate

So Saffron      Soft Sky      Tangelo Twist      Tangerine Tango

Tempting Turquoise      Wild Wasabi      Wisteria Wonder

Have fun playing.  That's what I'm going to do right now.  I'll show you my results tomorrow.

Thanks for looking.  If you need to order any of these inks you know you can right from this spot 24/7.

BOO! to you….

Happy Monday!  I had time yesterday while watching the Packer game to play a little more with the Fall Fest stamp set and the Fun Fall Framelits dies.  They are available as a bundle so you can save 15% if you order them together.

The base card is Tangelo Twist with DSP from Color Me Autumn collection and Very Vanilla CS layered next.  I sponged the background with Smoky Slate and Pumpkin Pie and masked the moon with a 1 1/4 inch circle punched with the corresponding punch.  The moon is inked with Pumpkin Pie.  I had pieces of the woodgrain left from another card. They were cut jagged for the fence.  The greeting, BOO! is from the September Paper Pumpkin kit.  The ghost was stamped with White ink on Basic Black CS and adhered with dimensionals. I flicked extra white around the edges and colored in the eyes and mouth with a black marker. 001

Thanks for looking.  Have a wonderful day.

Happy Birthday

I only have one sibling.  She is my older sister.  Her birthday is Monday.  Can't say how old she will be because you know how older woman are about their age.  We got together earlier this week to work on memory keeping aka scrapbooking.  Her granddaughter, Alyssa is an awesome basketball player.  She is a Senior at her high school this year and received a full scholarship for UW Milwaukee.  Not only is this girl talented but also academically the top in her class and a real class act morally.

This is the birthday card I made for my sister.  I used the Sweetbriar Rose stamp.  It is available as a single woodblock stamp.  I stamped the image with Memento black ink and used the two lighter shades of Rich Razzelberry Blendabilities to color it.  The greenery is the two lighter colors of Old Olive Blendabilities and just a tinge of Daffodil Yellow on the wispy leaves at the top of the image.  The greeting is from Sassy Salutations. 001

I hope you enjoy looking.  If you do please drop me an e-mail. I'd love to hear from you. Remember you can order from me online 24/7.  If you're thinking of joining Stampin' Up! I'd love to have you join my team.

Have a blessed weekend.

Apothecary Art

I'm still in Autumn mode. Can't quite roll into the snowflakes and Christmas tree frame of mind.

I created this card with an image from the stamp set Apothecary Art, including the greeting.  I stamped the image onto Whisper White CS then used Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie Blendabilities to color the image.    The image was cut out using the Labels collection.  I adhered the image with dimensionals. Beneath the flower where the bow is I punched two small holes and threaded the Tangelo Twist ribbon throught them.  That made it easy to have a bow without worrying it would dislodge during mailing.  The base card is Mossy Meadow.  The patterned paper is So Saffron from the Background Subtles Collection DSP.

Thanks for looking. Hope you enjoyed.

So Sew

Hi Everyone,

I hope you had a relaxing weekend.  Mine was pretty low key.  Dave and I did do our weekly Parrot cage cleaning for our African Grey named Homer, but that was pretty much all except for some disappointing football.

Anyone who knows me well is aware that I do not sew anything.  I can embroider, crochet and needlepoint but when it comes to actual alterations forget it.  That's what packing tape is for, right?  I found a pattern using the Circle Framelits dies and felt to create a flower.  It did require a needle and thread.  I gave it a shot and think it turned out pretty well.  See what you think. 002

The base card is Cherry Cobbler.  The patterned paper is from the Trim the Tree Paper Stack.  This is four each of twelve double sided designs in a 4 1/2 by 6 1/2 padded stack.  The greeting is Mossy Meadow CS punched with the extra large oval punch and Whisper White CS with the mesium oval punch.

Thanks for looking.  Don't forget to check out the weekly deals.  They change every Tuesday.
