Another railny day here in Wisconsin. I guess it could be worse. It could still be snowing!
Rainy weather is the perfect time to haul out your creativity. I have two cards today that both use the poppy and dots and splash stamps from the Happy Watercolor stamp set. I used Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler CS. I fussy cut the poppy and hand drew the stem. Both poppies are popped with dimensionals. The dots are Marina Mist ink. Not sure if you can see it in the picture but the darker poppy is covered with Crystal effects to give it even more dimension.
Have a happy Tuesday and thanks for looking.
This card features the stamp set Peaceful Petals and the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die from Stampin Up.
Sorry the picture turned out a little dark. The base card is Wisteria Wonder CS layered with Melon Mambo. Just a tip when using the intricate thinlit dies slip a piece of waxed paper between the CS and the die. The die cut piece will seperate without any fuss. This saves frustration and cussing !
Next week the full line of Project Life products will be available to order. Check out my website www.3catsastampin.stampinup.net.
Have a good weekend. Thanks for looking.
Hugs and happy stamping …MB
Typepad has had problems since last Friday making it impossible to find my blog or post on it. Everything seems better now!!
Yesterday was our last bowling for the Winter season and guess who got a turkey….. ME. If you knew how I bowl you would understand why I'm excited. I bowl in a Senior's league where I am close to the youngest one there. Pretty scary huh?
I've been busy getting orders in this week because remember through April 25 Stampin Up is offering FREE SHIPPING. Don't miss this opportunity to stock up.
These are two easy 4 1/2 inch square cards we made at last weeks workshop. The stripe is washi tape and the stamp set used is Flower Shop which is a very versatile set. This set has a matching punch (pansy punch) which makes it easy to pop the flowers or layer several together.
Hope you enjoy the sunshine today and thanks for looking.

My photographer (hubby) has been out of town and since I'm not as tech savvy as he is I was not able to post a picture of any recent creations but he's back now so here we go…..
These tulips were created using the Owl punch from Stampin Up. Even the leaves were made with the punch. The 3D effect makes this card pop.
I'll be back next week with more. Thanks for looking. Have a Happy Easter!
I am a firm believer in keeping small scraps of paper from one project to use in another.
Sitting on my work space was a flower I had punched from the Water Color DSP from Stampin Up and the Blossom Punch along with a scrap of ribbon from another card. It took very little time to slide the ribbon through a hole I punched in the center of the flower. I adhered the flower and ribbon with dimensionals to a scrap of winter DSP and there you have it !!!
Thanks for looking.
